I'm Simon Jern, a software developer based in Sweden. I build backend systems and cloud-based solutions where scalability, correctness, and long-term maintainability are essential. My work spans application development, infrastructure, and system design, primarily in enterprise environments.
In a recent role, I was involved in the design and development of a document generation and distribution system for one of the largest banks in the Nordics. More recently, my focus has shifted toward security-critical systems, including OAuth-based authentication and authorization, secure integrations, and service-to-service communication.
Outside of tech, I enjoy spending time with my family and dogs, gaming, and being outdoors. I'm always learning and growing — so if you've got an interesting project or opportunity, feel free to reach out!

school Education
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Malmö University, where I worked on multiple projects — one of which was published by the university. Before that, I studied game development in high school, which helped shape both my creativity and technical foundation.
public Experience
I currently work at Netcompany in Copenhagen, Denmark, where I design and build full-stack applications and work closely with clients. Before transitioning to tech, I worked as a Training Manager where I hired, trained, and developed staff. I was also responsible for the best-performing unit in the franchise and successfully reduced customer wait times through process improvements.
